- Valorant’s Beta is giving valuable information to developers. One of the most problematic things is health and damage input in the game, and developers will fix this with the upcoming changes.
Valorant is one of the most anticipated games of this summer. There is a void in the current FPS genre, and Valorant is expected to fill this void. The game is a combination of both CS:GO and Overwatch. However, the game is still in Beta, therefore, there are some missing features in the game. One of the main problems is the Agents balancing currently several agents are extremely powerful. However, another missing feature is the lack of cues for players damaging players. Currently, players only rely on sound whether they hit the target or not and some players are asking for more information whether their bullet land or not.
Valorant does have a visual cur that blood sprays from the players, however, most of the time it is close to being invisible over the distances. Developers from Riot Games announced that they will add more cues for players understanding they hit their target and also being hit. Currently, players who are shot also have no idea besides checking their health bar. Most probably screen will faint or turn red in order for them to understand this. Valorant does have 128 Tick servers and this means everything will be much more fluid with double packet going between players, it will prevent problems such as peekers advantage.
Valorant beta is going great and we are expecting the game to take off. A number of pro gamers announced that they will be trying their chance with this game. Valorant is prepared for the esports scene rather than a casual shooter with Riot Games already announced the competitive ranks within the game. We are expecting the game to release around mid-summer maybe the recent coronavirus pandemic might push this release a little bit further but according to the developers, we will play the game around September at worst.
It’s time for EU/NA.
