- William “Scarra” Li, in a clip addressed the whole OfflineTV drama that had ensued on Twitter. In a very mature manner, he puts forward his opinions.
It has been quite a roller-coaster week for OfflineTV. Things got complicated and escalated pretty quickly. A revelation came from behind the curtain, which shook the community and the fans of members of OfflineTV. OfflineTV is one of the most popular streaming community on Twitch, and it is sad to see them in such a boggy situation. It houses famous streamers like Scarra, Disguised Toast, Pokimane, and LilyPichu.
It all started with Pokimane’s tweet calling out an anonymous individual about being a snake. This is where all the controversy and community’s speculation started. The Tweet probably hinted towards falling out of members of OfflineTV. After this, a lot of members of OfflineTV, such as HasanAbi, Edisonparklive, Destiny, Ckalvin, and Fedmyster, started a series of Tweets and sub-tweets which clearly meant a red flag situation.
it’s insane how the best of people can turn out to be massive snakes 🐍

People started snooping around after witnessing the string of events that took place. A deduction came out that something awful went down between LilyPichu and SleightlyMusical. They were right, LilyPichu and SleightlyMusical broke-up in the past few days. Lilypichu tweeted about how she is feeling forced to make a statement, so she finally gave some clarity about the whole situation.
LilyPichu’s Statement
In a Twitlonger post, LiyPichu wrote:
“Albert and I aren’t together anymore. I apologize for all the subtweeting made by my friends. They were shocked and acted out. I didn’t know if I should share it/how to share this and was stressing out about it, but at this point, it doesn’t matter I’m too sick and tired.
Needless to say, I’m probably going to take a short break from streaming. I know people want to continue speculating, but at the very least, please don’t spread any more hurt to anyone. I am already heartbroken. I still love and care about my friends and Albie very much.
Lily”
I feel forced to make a statement and so here it is.

Scarra’s Opinion
While all this was happening, a lot of people started displaying negativity towards the streamers for taking advantage of such a delicate situation to increase clout and publicity. Enraged by the scenario William ‘Scarra’ Li, a famous League of Legends player, Twitch streamer, and one of the founding members of OfflineTV, gave his opinion upon the whole matter. He made a clip addressing the situation where he said:
“Obviously, some stuff happened today that was pretty… large in scale,” he said, choosing his words carefully as he commented. “I can’t give anything specific; it’s not my place to give specifics about what happened. Don’t expect me to ever say anything until another statement gets made by any of the main parties.”
Scarra then directed his speech towards the negative OfflineTV fans who were trash-talking Pokimane and Fedmyster for their Tweets earlier. He said, “I see a lot of comments really just sh*tting on my friends, which feels really bad,” he said. “I see people essentially saying that OTV and their friends subtweet a lot to get clout, and all that sh*t, and I just think it’s insane that you would think that people do that to get clout.”
The veteran then said that their friends sure made a personal thing public, but that doesn’t turn them into a bad person. He said that they should not have done that for the sake of LilyPichu. He countered the negative assumptions of the community by making logical statements.
“We live in a society that overshares, especially across social media and on our streams. That means when there’s a lot of emotional stress (like in this situation), people tend to default to what they normally do, and (share) the way that you saw. Multiple people probably said too much, but that means they’re human. They made some mistakes, but they’re not bad people or bad friends. I see that thrown out a lot, where people are called bad friends for tweeting stuff out, but in reality, that’s just very normal in our modern society. Sh*t happens, and people just tweet about it. It was just handled improperly in this situation when it came to us, and overall I think that it was really, really poorly handled. The most important thing in this situation is that I think until more information gets put out, no one jumps to any conclusions.”
Scarra handled the situation in the best possible way, and this goes to show why he is such a respected person and why everyone loves him. He has a pure heart, and he managed to stay calm and collected in a difficult situation like this. On the clip’s Reddit post this comment by “demyxrulz,” received the most upvotes, “This is one of the reasons why [Scarra is] still one of the most liked people in this scene. This man will never ever be in a negative spotlight.” This is true, and we are happy to see such sensible personalities around.
