- Another day, another ban from Twitch. Professional Fortnite player, Clix, just got banned for streaming with Zayn.
Twitch is the biggest streaming platform in the world, but they have some very strict guidelines. These guidelines might be necessary in most cases. After all, streaming is relatively still new. Currently, laws controlling streaming are not there and the ones can be interpreted as a gray area. Twitch follows their guidelines zealously. This is expected. But recently we have seen some big names departing from Twitch. We asked ourselves will Twitch be a little bit more lenient. The answer is apparently a big no. Twitch just banned Clix for 7 days from streaming. Also, you will not believe why they banned him.
Why Did Clix Get Banned From Twitch?
Clix got banned for streaming with “Zayn”. The reason behind this is simple. Zayn has a lifetime ban from Twitch. Therefore, he can not be featured on Twitch streams whatsoever. However, the interesting part is that even Zayn’s name was different why did Clix got banned. Twitch guidelines show us that. You cannot under any circumstances be on a stream with a banned persona. This is why Clix got a lifetime ban. We have seen different banning cases in the past. We saw Dr Disrespect getting banned for quite a bit of time for going into a public bathroom. Twitch is very strict on their guidelines.
nice got a 7day ban for having zayn in my stream… I had him muted, changed his nickname. How does @Khanada_TV get a 3day and i get a 7day? WTF

In the past, we have seen female streamers getting banned for several reasons. But recently Twitch opened the gate for most of these streamers. Also, the issue with Jarvis is still unresolved. The banning of players from a platform seems to be happening more and more these days. The interesting thing is Twitch must have suffered some losses after losing several of their big names. Therefore, most would have expected them to be a little bit less aggressive. But, maybe they are ok with these losses.
