- Popular Fortnite player and star streamer Ninja asked for community support to nerf controllers.
Fortnite Battle Royale is on a stable path as a game. The player community is consolidated now it is more stable. After reaching more than 300 million players registered Epic Games star game plateaued but now it is more stable. However, the same can not be said about esports for Fortnite. Fortnite esports had a bumpy start one and a half years go. We have seen Epic Games changing the game within the middle of a tournament. Afterward, Fortnite World Cup was a commercial success and an interesting event. However, there is still one problem within the game according to the pro’s controller issue.
Controllers are primarily used on consoles. However, when you are on your computer you can also put a controller on and play the game. This might seem like an ok addition to the game. However, it is not according to the pro players. As controllers act like aimbot on PC. Because of the aim assist good controller players to have a superior aim than a mouse and keyboard users. The hitmarker snaps on the target when a controller player takes aim and it is quite strong as it can snap onto a target from a long distance. Fortnite star player Ninja talked about this in his recent Twitter post.
Bunch of Fortnite gamers talking about controller aim assist (on pc not console), wanted to leave my 2 cents. Please watch the whole video before commenting or leaving hate. pic.twitter.com/MnuCAF4Ju9

We have seen some issues in the past since controller players were able to win tournaments such as Australia Open as well. Ninja said, “If we get more people speaking up about it, and being honest about it, we can actually get a nerf or a change, we can make it more balanced and healthy.” Pro controller player Aydan also backed him up. There is a huge problem within the competitive Fortnite community right now even Fortnite World Cup Bugha winner talked about controller balancing. Ninja is one of the most prominent figures in the community and his thoughts on the matter can make a real change within the game.
