- Popular Streamer Dr Disrespect might be hinting towards the possible release date of Call of Duty Warzone.
Call of Duty Warzone is definitely one of the most anticipated game modes to date. The discussions regarding the possibility of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare based battle royale mode has been around for a long time now. Even before the launch of the game we saw several leaks regarding the next COD battle royale. After months of waiting, we finally received a classified tab in the game with Season 2. However, Season 2 started more than 3 weeks ago and we still did not see anything like an official statement. But players were able to glitch themselves into the classified mode. They saw that it was a training mode for now; some speculating a training for a new BR called Warzobne. Also, we had a chance to see the leaked poster for the Call of Duy: Warzone. Activision doesn’t seem happy about the leaks, and actually issued a copyright strike against Twitter users who were posting sensitive information.
A release date for Warzone?
Players have been talking about Call of Duty Warzone for weeks now. But there is still no official word confirming it. Of course, theories are rampant over the release date of Call of Duty Warzone. One particular theory was pointing towards a release on March 3rd, however, nothing happened on that day. Players are turning to streamers now, especially Call of Duty partners for information. One of the most popular streamers is Dr Disrespect and players are bombarding him with questions about Warzone for weeks now. Dr Disrespect did not reveal anything despite receiving questions every day about the topic. However, on yesterday’s stream, he said something that might announce the release date of Call of Duty Warzone.
During his stream, Dr Disrespect answered a question from the chat and said “I might bust it out next week. Just don’t forget this conversation gentlemen. Next week you’re going to see the wingsuit.” This is interesting because, since the beginning of the Call of Duty Warzone release date rumors, March 10th was one of the most possible dates since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare generally updates every Tuesday. Of course, we can only hope that it is coming next week and Activision does not leave the player base in dark for another month. But this could be a solid clue for Warzone’s release date.
