Fortnite Battle Royale is the most famous video game on the planet right now. However, there are some things that even Fortnite cannot achieve such as the music industry and their reach. Music is like food and water to everyone and a necessity in everyday life. Nowadays, we have much faster access as well. There are thousands of apps that make it possible to listen to your favorite songs with the tap of a button.

So when we talk about gaming and the music industry, it’s sort of something that doesn’t happen very often as gamers just stick to what they do best, gaming in front of a screen. But that is slowly changing. We have seen some gaming stars on Tv shows such as Ninja when he made appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Ellen. But, we do not see a lot of collaboration from actual celebrities and gaming stars unless it’s some event like a Pro-Am. But everything seems to be changing now. In the past few years, the world of gaming has evolved, and streamers are getting more spotlight outside the world of Twitch and esports. We’ve seen a big example today with CourageJD, who is a streamer/esports host.

This is a 100 Thieves Production and it’s really great. It does look very entertaining, and  Ariana Grande and CourageJD look nice on camera. The video was done very well, and of course, this was a cover of the actual Ariana Grande song called Boyfriend. Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop does look speechless half of the time and it is just great. Also having a response from Ariana Grande must be a nice feeling. This was a great PR stunt from 100 Thieves; it’s really the best publicity you can find to push your brand out there beyond the world of esports and gaming.

Ariana is an international star and CouRageJD is one of the best faces on the streaming platform. He did an amazing job over at the Fortnite World Cup Finals. We can see that at the end of the video he is actually meeting with Ariana Grande.

It’s pretty neat to see streamers getting more of the spotlight they deserve through all their hard work and commitment. Let’s hope to see more of this in the near future.
