Fandom Announces Muthead Madden Pro-Am Tournament Presented by America’s Navy

Team Goats vs. Team Glory compete for a $10,000 prize pool 

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (July 1, 2020) – Fandom has announced a Muthead Madden Pro-Am Tournament presented by America’s Navy, the second esports event in the Fandom/America’s Navy partnership. Fandom will be broadcasting the live event on Friday, July 17 at 8pm EST/5pm PST on their Muthead Twitch channel 

Two teams of five players, Team Goats and Team Glory, will have a team captain from the America’s Navy esports Goats & Glory team, along with two professional Madden players and two NFL athletes/celebrities. The winning five-person team will split a $10,000 purse.

As highly trained decision-makers and communicators, our two Navy players from the Goats & Glory esports team are the ideal captains to lead the Madden professionals and celebrities in an exciting game.“ 

America’s Navy Chief Recruiting Officer, Captain Matt Boren said, “Our Sailors look forward to leading their teams in the upcoming Fandom Muthead Madden Pro-Am Tournament. This is a great opportunity to showcase how the dynamic skills required to be a successful Sailor relate to being a strong competitive gamer.”

During Muthead’s Friday Night Football Twitch broadcast on July 3, 8pm ET/5pm PT, U.S. Navy team captains will draft their teams. On July 10, 8pm ET/5pm PT, they will draft the NFL teams to be used in the tournament series.
