Eden Esports Announces $400,000 Tournament

• One of the most interesting CS:GO tournaments has announced by Eden Esports Malta Vibes.

Counter-Strike is still going strong even though most of the events have either been canceled or moved to online. We can see that Valorant came hard but they are still nowhere near to reaching CS: GO’s popularity. That is going to take a while even if it does happen. However, Valve took it seriously and announced a bunch of updates since the release of Valorant, in the most recent patch we have seen quality improvements for several maps and bug fixes in general. CS: GO‘s esports brand is still the best, BLAST Premier Series was an amazing success for the game and the esports arena. Also, Penta returned to the scene after 3 years of absence. Another tournament is announced today Eden Esports just announced one of the most interesting tournaments we have heard.

The tournament will take over 10 weeks, and each week there will be a $40,000 USD prize pool, totaling a $400,000 prize pool. There will be 16 teams each week present. But the problem is with the tournament is clashing with both cs_cummit 6 and the players offline time. Every year CS:GO players are taking time off and this year it is between July l6 and August 6. But the tournament Malta Vibes is starting on June 30 and this might mean that some of the top tier teams may not compete in the tournament.

Eden Esports also announced some perks for the tournament as teams will be allowed to have vacation time in Malta. Eden Esports stated, ” The winners of each weekly tournament will get a complimentary boot camp package with a stay in 5-star InterContinental Malta hotel and a right to use it anytime throughout a year after the competition.” This is a fairly interesting perk compared to other tournaments in CS: GO. The tournament will be sponsored by MaltaGaming, Grid, and Loot.Bet.
