In Borderlands 3, players can farm the damaging one pump chump shotgun. The weapon is a Legendary Jakob’s Shotgun in Borderlands 3. For those who might have forgotten, Jakobs is a weapons’ manufacturer in the Borderlands games. They are known for their wooden stock and classic western style weapons. Jakobs only makes revolvers, sniper rifles, and shotguns, although in Borderlands 2 they did start making semi-automatic assault rifles. Their weapons range from Unique to Legendary, and each weapon tier consists of classic or vintage levels.

All Jakobs weapons produce high damage, which is why it’s one of the best to get early on in the game and will help get you through the story at the beginning.

How To build The One Pump Chump Shotgun

When you start the game, you’ll be in the Sanctuary on planet Promethea. You’ll want to make it to Lectro City which is North from the center of the map. Just hover over the blue arrows in the map menu to make sure you’re heading towards the right exit. Once you’re in Lectra City, head East to find the first mission giver (Proof of Wife). While working your way through the market quarter, you’ll need to avoid the gun battles going on. You’ll know you’re on the right path when you reach the entrance with the sign that says “Today Children of the Vault”.

If you check your mini-map, you’ll see the yellow exclamation mark where you’ll know that you’ve hit the first mission. You’ll need to head downstairs and go all the way straight in the underground while sticking to your left. You’ll eventually hit an area where you need to interact with objects. In order to pass this point, you need to move them in this order:

• Cabinet Button
• Wheel
• Level
• Cabinet Switch #2

Once you push those objects in that order you’ll unlock a door where you’ll need to eliminate an enemy. The enemy will drop a weapon. If the weapon doesn’t drop, you’ll need to quit the game and reload. Once you do that, the one pump chump shotgun will be on the ground to pick up.
