WSOE will be hosting their 3rd tournament with the event taking place in California.
WSOE is a new name when it comes to tournament hosting in the Fortnite Esports Arena. The company first tournament was Dota 2. The second tournament was the popular Blizzard card game, Hearthstone.
Although events were live online; there was no live crowd. However; the tournaments are always interesting to watch even though they are a little bit out of mainstream gaming. This time they seem a little bit more ambitious and invited many important figures in the Fortnite community.
Fortnite Tournament
WSOE is taking another step forward and they will be hosting a Fortnite Battle Royale tournament. Therefore; the tournament will be live from Twitch and this time there will be a live crowd. The format is on duos. The prize pool is 100000 dollars. The event will be held in Manhattan Beach; California. The event will feature pro Fortnite players from the most important Esports teams such as OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, TSM, NRG Esports, Ghost Gaming, G2 Esports, and Team Vitality. WSOE Fortnite will stream live on December 30 with a pre-show at 9:30 am PST and the matches starting at 10:00 a.m. PST on Twitch.
This will be the 3rd major tournament by WSOE in the last 3 months. Since they are a new Esports company this is quite an achievement. The company is backed up by ESP Gaming. The company is known for their World Series of Poker and the mobile game tournaments.

The open qualifiers will be held on 27th of December. 50 players will be from the community chosen via qualifiers. You can sign up from here.
