Thanos Coming Back To Fortnite Battle Royale?

Thanos might be coming back to Fortnite Battle Royale part of the Infinity Gauntlet LTM that gave fans a chance of playing as Thanos.

The LTM game mode was added to Fortnite in May with Patch 4.01. Players would watch the skies for the drop of the Infinity Gauntlet, then scrambling to acquired it. Thanos, being so powerful, was hunted down by most players in a match.

Whoever picks up the Infinity Gauntlet next becomes Thanos himself. We were able to see Thanos’s location on the Island using the map. The mode was loved by the game’s fans and regarded as “genius” by marketing critics. Epic did partner with Marvel for this game mode.

The Leak

The new leak, which came after patch 7.01, shows indication that Infinity Gauntlet mode might be coming back. This is not surprising considering the new Avengers movie is set to release in April 2019. The leaks are from @FortTory.

We can see that the Carmine files (The infinity Gauntlet Mode)are updated with the new patch. Interestingly, a new sound file was also added to the game. We remember back in May, when the mode was first introduced, that sound was an indication of someone picking up the Infinity Gauntlet.

Therefore; this file might be an update to that file. @FortTory mentions the file change is named Carmine_Disapear_01.

The leaks also have file named Jim_Gauntlet_Pickup. This can only mean that the gauntlet mode might be making a comeback in the near future.

Also, with the new 7.01 patch,  the Infinity Blade was added.  Maybe the Infinity Blade will pair with Thanos and be used simultaneously. Epic Games has yet to confirm, nor deny, these leaks.
