Fortnite Streamer Tyler ”Ninja” Blevins is partnering with Twitch for a 12 hour NYE event live from Time Square
Ninja recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and on the Ellen Show. He is the first person to take video games into mainstream. Ninja also won the 2018 Content Creator of the Year award. This time around he will be doing something a little different.
The Event
This time popular Fortnite Streamer and Pro player Tyler ”Ninja” Blevins is going to stream from Time Square. The event will start at 4 pm on 31st December and will end at 4 am January 1st. Ninja will play Fortnite. The Twitch twitter account posted a video on Ninja’s funny wins and tweeted ”2018 has been full of wins for gaming, for all of us on Twitch, and of course, for Ninja. But there’s still time for one more W.Ninja’s NYE will be LIVE from Times Square at Dec 31 at 1 pm PT. Kick off 2019 with a 12-hour party, only on Twitch.”.

This is an absolutely amazing event for Twitch and Ninja. Even though Ninja was on the decline by sub counts; he is still by far the best-known streamer out there. Ninja has more than 10 million followers on Twitch, 20 million Youtube subscribers and 3 million Twitter followers. He is partnered with Red Bull and Samsung. Ninja also played the game with Drake and broke all streaming records. He is also selling his own merchandise. Twitch will be bringing a live event from the Times Square shows us how much far the video games industry come.
