Popular Streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is warning Epic Games to be careful with the game.
Fortnite Battle Royale is still the most played game in the world although the state of the game might be in choppy waters. Rewind to mid 2017, Fortnite and PUBG were both head to head. However PUBG developers took a different route choosing to introduce new content rather than fixing issues that were plaguing the game. The outcome backfired on them, while Fortnite pulled away to dominate the BR gaming scene. PUBG still remains a major success story but is now a shadow of its former grandeur.
Fortnite Status
With Season 8 in full swing, Fortnite is not in it’s most healthy state. For one the product is aging and secondly the game now has a very high learning curve. The complexity and abundance of items intimidates new players who want might want to try it out. But the biggest problem is Fortnite losing players because they are not happy with changes as the game has shifted to a monotonic type of shooter game.
On top of game problem, popular streamers are not making things easy as the continue to voice their frustrations. Popular Twitch streamer Ninja is still watched by thousands of viewers daily. He may not be the best player out there anymore, however he is a figure who has played the game since its inaugural release.
Of course, this is a serious statement. Fortnite is Ninja ‘s bread and butter that made him famous, however claiming that the game will become a H1Z1 is a scary thought. H1Z1 lacked on all fronts whereas Fortnite fixed things on a whole different level. This is just one of many pro rants on the current status Fortnite.
