The Fortnite World Cup was one of the biggest esports events of 2019. However, there was only one player that we could not take our eyes off during the event. No one was able to match Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf. He destroyed everyone and won by a big margin. Bugha was a known name before he won the tournament. But of course, after he won Fortnite World Cup, he became sort of a Rising Legend. The world of esports is not only about winning tournaments. There is a little bit of everything. However, Bugha is on the right path, and 2019 was his year.
Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf
Bugha won 2 awards at the Esports Awards 2019. He won Esports PC Rookie of the Year and Esports PC Player of the Year. Both of these awards are extremely prestigious because PC player of the Year has heavy competition. But Bugha winning both is something amazing. When we think back before the Fortnite World Cup how many of us would have expected this? Most of the players who competed at the Fortnite World Cup were favorites ahead of Bugha. But he continues to go strong after the Fortnite World Cup and making a name for himself with each Fortnite tournament. He is showing doubters that it was not a one-time thing.

The Esports Awards
These awards are also awarded by the community and this shows how much Bugha is loved. He is a down to earth person with a good character which is a major reason why everyone likes him. Bugha was expected to win PC Rookie of the Year, but winning PC Player of the year was the cherry on top of the cake. After all, he won one of the most prestigious tournaments of the year. However, winning the PC Player of the year is something else.
Congratulations to Bugha and his accomplishments this year. He deserved this wonderful year and he is on the way to success. He might be young, but he is a good role model for people who want a career in Esports.
