Fortnite Battle Royale is currently the most popular game in the world. Since the announcement of Fortnite Esports, the competitive gaming world has been welcoming new pro players to the table. If you’re interested in competing, here are some of the top Fortnite Esport players custom settings used in-game.

Pro Player Control Settings

Most Fortnite players feel like they need to tweak their settings and sensitivity to find that sweet spot. Each and every one of us have unique likes and comfort zones. That’s why when one of our friend’s gives us advice on settings, we don’t feel comfortable with the change. We all play with different settings for every game, especially when it comes the competitive gaming.

Fortnite is in a league of it’s own when it comes to settings, whether you are on keyboard and mouse or controller. Everyone wants and needs the competitive edge and sensitivity and binding plays the biggest role. Today we look at the best Fortnite pro player settings to see how everyone has their own preferences.

FaZe “Tfue” (Esports)

Arguably the best player in the world, FaZe Clan player Tfue is known for his precise aim, quick edits and incredible rotation skill. He scales on a little bit of the faster side. Tfue’s Fortnite Settings are certainly interesting. His dpi is low however his sensitivity is a little higher than average.

  • Sensitivity: 0.08
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.70
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.55
  • DPI: 400
TSM “Myth” (Esports)

Known as the ”Young Architect”  Ali”Myth”Kabbani was and still is one of the most prominent faces of Fortnite. His settings are quite different than Tfue and Ninja.

  • Sensitivity: 0.03
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.70
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.60
  • DPI: 1300

Myth’s high DPI can be understood, his building speed is off the charts. However, this affects his gun skills and might explain the lack of tournament victories. As more players jumped into the pro Fortnite scene, Myth’s dominance clearly declined.

Team Liquid “72hrs” (Esports)

Team liquid star player Tom”72hrs”Mulligan was second in the 2018 Winter Royale. He was expecting to win the tournament in the final round, however, his fall damage elimination probably cost him first place. He is still one of the best players out there and here are his Fortnite Settings.

  • Sensitivity: 0.12
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.40
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.40
  • DPI: 400

Notice his sensitivity is much lower than other players in this article. This gives him an advantage of being as precise as possible, meaning no mouse spin.

Rogue “DrLupo” (Esports)

A top 25 Twitch streamer is what can be said about DrLupo. He has not won any major tournaments however he has always had a nice snipe from mid to long distance. His best finish was with Ninja for the Summer Skirmish series with a second place finish just short of a Victory Royale.

  • Sensitivity: 0.07
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.50
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.50
  • DPI: 800
TSM “Daequan” (Esports)

Daequan is known for being the inventor of the infamous ”Double Pump Shotgun”but also known for his extremely good positioning in the final stages. He definitely deserves to be on the list. Daequan’s Fortnite settings are a little bit on the faster side of the list.

  • Sensitivity: 0.07
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.75
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.75
  • DPI: 600

Daequan has mentioned several times in-game that he’s able to have a bit of an edge on his opponents due to his higher control sensitivity.

FaZe “Cloak” (Esports)

Dennis ”Cloak” Lepore is probably the most underrated player in the world. People who follow Cloak closely know he is a top10 player, however we don’t see or hear from him as much as we do other streamers. His status is clearly MVP as he almost single handily carried Tfue to help win the TwitchCon Fall Skirmish Grand Finals.

  • Sensitivity: 0.11
  • ADS Sensitivity: 1.00
  • Scope Sensitivity: 1.00
  • DPI: 400

Cloak or also known as ”Cloakzy” uses very fast settings. There are not many pro players who use these type of high settings.

FaZe “Jaomock” (Esports)

The Canadian, Brendan ”Jaomock” O’Brien, rarely finishes a game with less than 10 kills. The man is a beast and ranks in the top 10 on the most kills list. Here are his Fortnite settings.

  • Sensitivity : 0.12
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.80
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.60
  • DPI: 800

If your Fortnite style is hunt and prey, then definitely try out Jaomock’s control settings as he’s always on the hunt to chase down his opponents. If you’re more of a sniper and stand-back-type, look at the next player on the list.

TSM “dakotaz” (Esports)

Probably the best sniper in the game, Dakotaz understands sniping better than anyone on this list. More of a entertainer then at winning tournaments, Dakotaz never fails to impress his fan base. He still had very good showings in tournaments and if you’re a sniper like Dakotaz, take note of his sniping settings for Fortnite.

  • Sensitivity : 0.07
  • ADS Sensitivity: 1.00
  • Scope Sensitivity: 1.00
  • DPI: 2400
Ghost “Aydan” (Esports)

One of the top controller players in the world, Aydan’s settings are on a PS4 controller using PC (DPI is zero of course). Although console gamers don’t have the same control settings as PC gamers (lack thereof), they’ve still found a way to fine-tune their controller setup in order to dominant in pro tournaments. If you’re a console player, look no further as Aydan’s setup it top notch.

  • Sensitivity : 0.75
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.50
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.60
  • DPI: 0
Ninja

When we are talking about Fortnite, we have to add Tyler”Ninja”Blevins at the top of the list. The multimillionaire persona of our gaming industry is one of the first to have helped Fortnite go mainstream. He has a win rate of %34 percent. Let us take a look at Ninja and his Fortnite settings.

  • Sensitivity: 0.08
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.60
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.40
  • DPI: 800

When we look at Ninja’s Fortnite settings we realize that he is a standard player when it comes to pro player settings. Nothing in his settings really stand out.

NICKMERCS

Another PS4 controller stud, NICKMERCS is a fan favorite in the Fortnite world. Here is another player that rarely leaves a game without 10 kills and is well known for his close combat skills. His Fortnite settings are very similar to Aydan’s.

  • Sensitivity : 0.70
  • ADS Sensitivity: 0.60
  • Scope Sensitivity: 0.50
  • DPI: 0
DPI Settings

It’s clear that most of the Fortnite esports players have very low DPI settings. The reason for this is it allows for players to be as precise as possible while aiming down sights. Rather than turning too fast and losing control, they prefer shooting first to the head. Therefore, it creates another argument on the amazingly expensive mouse controllers. Most players use a good mouse, not for their DPI settings but for their sensor. So when you are looking for a good mouse, the sensor should be the first thing on your list.
