OpTic Gaming was in the second week of the CWL Pro League 2019, facing Red Reserve on the fresh Monday. It was the first time either team has faced each other this year, and OpTic Gaming has a little more fight in them to pull over an incredible comeback.
OpTic Gaming Comeback on Hardpoint vs Red Reserve
Week 2 of the CWL Pro League 2019 season started off with some exciting matches, specifically Luminosity getting their very first win, and Midnight finally conceding, showing the CWL world that they are indeed human. However, one match had stuck out the most and that was OpTic Gaming against Red Reserve in Tuesdays match.
Both teams we’re showing heart in all the matches. But it was in match #4 on Arsenal playing Hardpoint that showed why OpTic Gaming is one of the best teams in the world.
Down in Hardpoint Points
During the Match on Arsenal, OpTic Gaming and Red Reserve were going back and forth on the points, equally holding down key hardpoint areas. Then, toward the end the Hardpoint switched to the beginning of the rotation on the map Arsenal. Red Reserve was holding down mid with good force, covering all entrances to mid and going up to 248 until the time stopped and the rotation went on the outside. At the point OpTic gaming had 228 points and it seemed impossible for them to come back, so so we thought.
OpTic Gaming has pulled some incredible comebacks at the last Major Open in Vegas against Spylce, but they’ve shown us once again why they are one of the best teams in the league.
