Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 Trailer and Roadmap Released

• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 details are here. There are many new things coming into the game, however, there’s still no mention of a Battle Royale mode.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 is approaching, and there are many changes coming with it. Modern Warfare started out very well but as time passed players started to drop the game because there were some issues. The issues surrounded the highly controversial SBMM, lack of Battle Royale mode and the lack of Ranked gameplay. Activision sent a survey to players to ask about what they want even. Because the number of players dropping out of the game was considerable. But here we are ending Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 1 and Activision and Infinity Ward announced the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 roadmap.

What’s in store for Modern Warfare Season 2?

First of all, there is still no mention of a Battle Royale mode. Also, players should know that the much-wanted Ranked gameplay is also absent. We are getting many new things but the content will be spread around like Season 1. One of the most well known and fan-favorite map Rust is making a come back in this season. Another map that we will see is a new map called Atlas Superstore. This map is a map with a lot of covers by the looks of it. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 will also bring a new Ground War map called Zhokov Boneyard the takes place in an airfield and it does look interesting.

We are also going to get 2 new weapons with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2 Although these weapons will be available for free in the Battle Pass. The weapons are Grau 5.56 and Striker 45. Grau 5.56 is described as lightweight, maneuverable and full of potential. And the Striker is hard-hitting and long-range SMG.. Most probably it will be nerfed in the future. There is a new Gunfight Map called Bazaar and a new Gunfight Tournament as well. The Gunfight Tournament mode is finally out of the Beta. CDL playlist is with Call of Duty League match rules and players can use this if they want to play like pro players. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 will also bring Ghost into the game as a playable character.

As we have said before the rest of the content will be spread throughout the season. This content includes a new multiplayer map called Khandor Hideout. New modes such as Infected Ground War, NVG Reinforce and Demolition is coming later in Season 2 as well. Later in Season 2, we will see another weapon as well however, it is Classified right now. The new operators coming with this season are called Mace and Talon. Players can unlock the Seasonal Battle Pass with 1000 CoD Points. But if you were able to max out your previous Battle Pass it means you have already collected over 1000 so be sure to check it before you purchase for the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2.
