Call of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Royale Leaks Look Amazing

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is turning out to be one of the hottest games on the market. With a few tweaks here and there, MW is a favorite among many FPS fans. However, many diehard fans were disappointed that there was no Battle Royale game in MW like there was for Black Ops 4. However, recent leaks give us an insight into what the devs are working on, and it seems like there will be a Battle Royale heading our way.

Modern Warfare Battle Royale?

It looks like a recent leak is confirming this, and on top of this, it will be 200 player battle royale. 200 players, yes you heard it right. A huge map. Possibly 2-3 times bigger than the Blackout map. Both Private match and Public match settings are available. Every gun and attachment is lootable. There are missions such as assassination. That will put a bounty on a player. Also missions like capture a flag will come around. Eliminating players and all these missions award you with plunder. There is a plunder system introduced into this mode. So what you can do with plunder is either bet a player on Gulag or take it to the bank and deposit it as XP.

What is Gulag?

A Gulag is the best mechanic around, and it is revolutionary for the Battle Royale mode. When a friend of yours is downed, you can take them to an ambulance with a token. This token is lootable. Afterward, your friend will be taken into a Gulag to fight in a 1v1 gunfight. If you win, you go back to the Battle Royale. You lose, and you are out of the game. There are minigames inside the game. This Gulag mechanic can send every player back if a Jailbreak occurs. Apparently it happens a lot. Players who come back from Gulag can get all their gear back if they can locate an armory.

There are 3 types of armor and 5 levels for weapons. The map seems to be a combination of Spec Ops maps and Ground War maps. We just hope that they will not be bullet sponges like it was in Blackout. The gameplay will take a  long time and we are sure there will be vehicles in order to cover distances because the map is so large to cover it on foot. There is minimal water elements on the map; just 2 rivers and a sea on the southern border. The jumpmaster mechanic from Apex Legends is also introduced. 200 players is massive, and CoD Battle Royale is not free-to-play; there is no way that they can fill a lobby. That was the problem with Blackout dying so fast. It was a good mode but locked behind a full-priced game. We just hope that the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Royale will be amazing.
