Call of Duty Modern Warfare was one of the best games of the year without a doubt. When the games beta was released it already created a hype that we did not see for a long time in Call of Duty Series. Some games are not live up to the hype that was created before the release but Call of Duty managed to do that. When we are taking the general look of the game we can see that it was the first Call of Duty title in a long time that was taking place in our time. Even though WW2 is an interesting concept and still pulling players, it is not the same as a modern shooter in the fan’s eyes. Since this makes the possibility of becoming an esports and that is what they managed with Call of Duty League.
Call of Duty has always been an integral part of the shooting genre. Since its release, we have seen a lot of CoD titles and the reason for this is simple. This game can sell extremely well. Some players prefer faster gameplay unlike Battlefield or Squad and that is where Call of Duty excels. It is essentially an arena shooter in its roots. However, Call of Duty did something else with this title and stepped into big battles with Ground War. The game mode was not a perfect representation of a Battlefield with all the killstreaks going around however it was fun since it was chaotic.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare managed another thing with Warzone. This made the game ultimate FPS game in the eyes of the fans. Warzone is a Battle Royale mode, and players were waiting for this since the release. Right now CoD Modern Warfare offers many different games inside one game. Do you want to play battle Royale? You can. Do you want to play a fast-paced arena shooter? You can. And if you want big battles, you can. The game offers a taste for everyone and this is what made this title so popular also Warzone is free to play therefore many players downloaded saw the game and purchased the title.
With 3 seasons already gone Call of Duty fans are waiting for Call of Duty Warzone Season 4. However, the season was delayed prior on June 2nd. This was done in order to support the BLM protests taking place in America. Since the protests started many companies around the world announced their support and postponed their shows and game releases. Call of Duty was one of these games. They also supported the cause but the developers did not inform the fans about the new release date of Season 4. But according to leaks, we will see the Call of Duty Season 4 very soon.
According to leaks, we will see Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 on June 9th. As Tuesdays are the expected update day for the Call of Duty titles this is the most expected time. However, there is no official news from the Infinity Ward still. But if the leaks are true we will get the new season tomorrow. Of course, there can be further delays but at this point, we are not expecting since the game was already delayed once. Otherwise, there is also a possibility of backlash from the community. Currently, newly all the games in the market are delayed therefore the players are in a loop.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare was a definite success for Activision and Infinity Ward. They were able to bring many different FPS genres and deliver it to the fans. The games may not be perfect but the package certainly is. According to leaks, we will see a Cold War Era Call of Duty Game at the end of the year. the game will also encircle Warzone and we are expecting map change coming with it. Warzone was a big hit for Call of Duty series and they will certainly want to continue this game forward with more updates and changes to the weapons and maps.
