There have been many weapons that have been nerfed in Apex Legends. From the Peacekeeper (shotgun) to the Havoc (Energy rifle), these weapons aren’t the same as they were when players were playing with them. The reason they get nerfed is that the community deems them “too strong”, in which Respawn Entertainment makes some adjustments to even out the playing field. If they didn’t, players would continue to complain and make a big deal claiming that the company isn’t doing much for the player base.

One of those weapons that have been nerfed along the line was the “Wingman“, a strong powerful pistol that shoots like a colt. Many players were complaining about the Wingman for months until Respawn decided to change the fire rate and the damage dealt. However, popular streamers like Shroud thought that Respawn messed up, and only made the gun more powerful given the more steady fire rate.

Well, one streamer by the name of Jardio showed us why the Wingman is still one of the best weapons to carry in Apex Legends.

During one of Jardio’s streams, he was playing the solo mode in Apex Legends. At the midpoint of the match, he saw an enemy go up one of the location balloons. He immediately drew his Wingman and started to calculate the fire rate so that he can accurately damage the enemy. At he was timing his shots, the enemy climbed up the rope to glide off. Then this happened:

As he was timing his shots, Jardio was dealing damage to the enemy. He decided to go after his opponent and went up the rope while his opponent glided off. Considering how far he was from the enemy, there was no way he was going to make any shots count. But, persistence pays off and he was able to get an incredible shot for the kill, from far distance, while going up the rope. His reaction says it all as he couldn’t believe what just happened.
