Apex Legends Season 2 is here. Let’s check out what players will get to see in the new highly anticipated season 2.
Apex Legends Season 2 Is Here
Apex Legends Season 2 has finally started. Players from all over the world were expecting this season with a lot of anticipation due to the drawbacks the game has seen in the past few months. There are several reasons behind this. For a start, everybody knows that Apex Legends has a lot of potential to be a leader in the battle royale space. When the game first started, Apex Legends was on a great roll. They had 50 million users in their first month and were breaking records set by Fortnite Battle Royale. However, after some time, the game started to lose popularity among gamers. Problems were everywhere. Bugs, glitches, balance issues, but most prominently hacking problems. The game was infested with hackers and the developers were under harsh criticism.
The game lost a lot of popularity and sunk in ratings. However, at EA Play, EA and Respawn started to campaign for Apex Legends again. There were promises on new content and fixes. Of course, this was because EA couldn’t afford to have another flop in their line-up as they did with Anthem when it was released. Anthem was regarded as a catastrophe, and their other title Battlefield Firestorm did not attract that much attention. So they are left with Apex Legends as a result.
Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Charge Patch Notes and News
Apex Legends New Legend Wattson;
As expected, Wattson is here. Her character statement is “Power is everything. You only think you have it.”. Her tactical ability is Perimeter Security which allows her to connect nodes to create electrified fences to damage and slow down enemies. Wattson’s passive ability Spark of Genius is pretty interesting; ultimate accelerants fully charge her ultimate ability, and standing near interception pylons boosts Wattsons tactical ability recharge. Her Ultimate Ability is called Interception Pylon Wattson can place an electrified pylon that destroys incoming ordnance and repairs damaged shields as long as it stands. Therefore Wattson will be an interesting choice she will definitely be stronger than some Legends.
Apex Legends Season 2 New Weapon L-Star
The L-STAR’s bullets are much larger caliber than those fired by other weapons in Apex Legends. However, L-Star bullets are slower and it has a larger hitreg than all the other weapons Also the L-STAR will overheat if you try to hold the trigger for a long time. When the L-STAR overheats, its lens breaks and needs to be replaced, which takes some time. Short bursts are essential.L-Star will only spawn in Airdrops.
Weapons Balance Changes
Some of the guns are getting a buff with the upcoming Apex Legends Season 2, the Flatline, P2020, Alternator, and Triple Take. Also, there are new hop ups for players to use called Disruptor Rounds increased shielded damage for Alternator, RE-45 and Hammerpoint Rounds increased unshielded damage for P2020, Mozambique. Which is a great idea to separate the damage types.
Apex Legends Season 2 Map Changes
Apex Legends map is also getting updated there are new structures new zones etc. Players were actually expecting a new map but unfortunately, there is no new map this season.
Apex Legends Ranked Leagues
One of the most important features of any game is the Ranked system. This system allows for players to test themselves against the best players in the game. As we all know any ranked matches in games are pretty serious.
Apex Legends Ranked System is familiar from other games. The ranked system starts from Bronze as the lowest level possible and players can go up the ladder as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinium, Diamond and Apex Predator. Each of these Ranks has 4 divisions inside of them except the Apex Predator Rank. There is a point ticket system for each and every rank. Players can collect these points by playing the game and use them to play Ranked matches.
We wish good luck to all players.
